Is it possible to disable estimated delivery times?

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Disable estimated delivery times]

We are a flower shop and need to disable the estimated delivery times.  We have a work around, we have a box that the customers puts in the date they want their bouquet to be delivered.

but, then when they check out it says it will be delivered today between such and such time.  I tried to zero out the times but I need to have a greater number than 0.

Any suggestions???

Hello @rootsbloomsbean,

Thank you for posting in the Seller Community. Welcome.

In order to make sure i'm understanding, what website builder did you use to create your site (Wix, Weebly, GoDaddy, WooCommerce etc.)? Also, can you provide the URL to your website/page? Thank you!

Please let me know by replying in this thread. I'll keep an eye out for your response.

Hi @rootsbloomsbean,

I've looked into this with our Weebly Team, and currently this is a feature request.

We definitely see how it could benefit your business model. Our teams are constantly looking through our seller's feedback to make necessary improvements, and we will be sure to let you know if anything ever changes or if new updates are released.

Is there a wa y to hide the estimated delivery times in the item pages? I deliver on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4 and 9 PM and have my hours set for that.  But on the item pages is says “Estimated delivery time 1 hour and 45 minutes to 5 hours and 45 minutes no matter what day of the week it is.  Then on the check out page it correctly shows that it will be delivered on Tuesday or Thursday.

I feel like showing an estimated delivery time like that is confusing to customers.  Like if they are looking at the site at midnight, it looks like we will show up at 2AM.

Isn’t there a way to hide that? Or at least display it correctly as Tuesday or Thursday during my delivery window?

Hey @glitchgifts,

I moved your post to an existing feature request thread for hiding/disabling the estimated delivery time.

I don't have a timeline on when this will be available but I would encourage you to check out our Beta Community to join and potentially get access to new features first when we test them out.

We really need a fix for these incorrect and confusing estimated delivery times that show up on the product page.  We only deliver on Tuesdays and no matter what day someone is shopping they get an estimated deliver time of 2 hours or whatever.   So it will be Friday night and the delivery ETA says 2 to ten hours even though in actuality it will be 4 days away.  This is extremely confusing to customers, has to be hurting our sales, and makes us look like we don't know what we are doing when customers think it will be there in 2 to 10 hour and in fact is will not.

I don't think the answer of "this is a requested feature" is suitable.  This is not a feature, this is a problem that really needs to be sorted out and it should be an easy one at that.  We pay pretty good money to use square between credit card processing and online sales.  I really think this need to be fixed.  We either need an option to hide the delivery ETA or at least have it be correct, based on our delivery schedule.  Why can it not say Estimated delivery Tuesday between 4 and 9 PM?

This screen shot was taken Saturday afternoon.  Can you see why this is a problem? Square delivery.png
