The title of this post has been edited from the original: yoga studio - Square Appointments, Contracts, Online Payment
Hello, all! I'm very close to opening a small yoga studio and trying to decide whether to use Square exclusively for class reservations (appointments), waiver signatures and payments. With COVID restrictions, classes will be capped at 6 students. I'd like to have the availability to book drop-in classes (individuals can sign up for a class which will be capped at students). I'd also like the ability for clients to book private one-on-one session or private group session where they would bring up to 5 of their friends.
I read a thread regarding the ability (or inability) to book multiple, overlapping appointments, but the thread was quite old. Is this possible now?
Also, I'd love to be able to send a digital contact (waiver) when clients book an appointment; however, I don't want them to have to complete the waiver every single time they sign up for a class. Is there a way to setup the contract so that it only sends one time and then renews maybe one time per year? Or is that something I would have to manage manually?
Thanks in advance.
Kindly,
Kathy

Hi there @KakalinaAleka 👋
You can manually book overlapping appointments yourself, but your clients can not book overlapping appointments via your online booking site. We do offer a processing time feature, where you can allow customers to book in between the appointment of another appointment, but I don't think this will help with what the you are looking to accomplish.
Contracts! You can do what you're asking about here on the Templates page of your Dashboard. Feel free to create a custom template, or select a standard template and we'll help you along the way - these are very customizable. You can also start on the Contracts page > New contract, if you do not want to use a custom template. The service agreement template seems like it would be a good fit for you:
Once you've selected a template, this specific clause is the one that would help you define this contract's length: Termination of contract. You'll click Clone & edit to add a date where you see [contract end date]:
After saving your change(s), you'll see the date/other changes reflected as you continue to build your contract:
Once you've sent the contract, and your client has signed, you can head to the Contracts page again:
Next to where you see confirmation that your client has signed the contract, you can click the three dots to the right side > Edit to view the contract in full with signatures:
I hope these visuals were helpful! ✨
