If my business is registered in one state, can I sell merchandise in another state?

If my business is registered in the stae of Vermont and I am hosting an event in Louisiana, can I sell merchandise at my event or do I need to be registered in the state of Louisiana?

With Square you can sell anywhere in the United States.  You will have to check with your accountant if you need to collect sales tax while you are selling out of state.
