If I edit an employee's pay rate, when does the new pay rate go into effect?

I've been searching but have not found this answer. If I go in right now and edit an employee's pay rate, when does it go into effect? Will it start the next time they clock in? Or does it apply to the entire current payroll period?

Hey @alikat72! If you edit an employee's pay rate in Square Payroll, your employee will be paid that rate for the following pay run. That includes all hours in that run.
