I don't need to be on the calendar but remain on the account. How do I do that?

I set the system up but I don't need to be on the calendar. How do I fix that?

@chead343 It sounds like you're already set up your account but if needed you can assign a role like 'Administrator' to your profile from the Staff section of your Appointments Dashboard. Then, from the same section (your staff profile) scroll down and toggle the option Bookable by Customers Online OFF.

 

That way your name will not be visible to customers when they book appointments online.

 

From your Appointments Dashboard click Staff > cilck on the staff member's name > scroll down to Online Booking > toggle this off.From your Appointments Dashboard click Staff > cilck on the staff member's name > scroll down to Online Booking > toggle this off.

I know we can turn off the "bookable by customers online", but how can we remove a user from the Square register? I'm the business owner and will never need an appointment assigned to myself. My stylists keep accidentally assigning appointments to me because my name pops up first on the register when they're creating an appointment. I shouldn't be visible to anyone.

Unfortunately you as the owner cannot be removed from the Register.

I’m with you on this. Square is such a huge company, and while much of their platform is super easy to use, the calendar and website/online store are pretty remedial, at best. It seems like they could carve off a little bit of their billions to pay some web developers to really make their products look beautiful and perform better than any other option.

Right??? Some of these things are SO basic. Like people can ONLY tip in percentages and not dollar amounts? Not being able to combine appointments into one check at checkout? Not being able to book multiple appointments at once if a family wants to come in? It's crazy.

So, it has been a few years - has it been ever implemented? Or people still have to stumble upon this. I'm the owner and my name takes space in the online calendar, even though I will never be scheduled. Is there a way to remove my name from the calendar?
