How to have Ticket show in orders list?

Is there a way to have open tickets show on my Orders list? All of my Orders have been prepaid online and show up together. I started a Ticket for a phone in order that will pay upon pickup. Is there a way to have them appear onscreen together in one list? Thanks!

Great question!

 

Tickets and Online Orders are 2 different functions, so you wouldn't be able to combine them into one area. This is awesome feedback for our Product Team, though. I will tag this, so it gets over to them.

I have the same issue. Would like to see phone orders taken listed as order and maybe source can be phone or something of that nature, instead of having to look in transactions etc.

Is there any update to this? We are a pick up and delivery pizza shop and are having the same issue with phone orders. If they call and place an order and pay over the phone the order no longer appears in open orders even though we have not even started making the food yet. Also, if the phone order is for delivery we cannot assign it to a driver because it is not an open ticket. We can find the order in transactions but can't  assign it even though we signed up for Teams Plus to be able to do this.

Now that we're accepting online orders for our restaurant, we have a frustrating situation.   If someone calls in an order we open a ticket.  We also ask them to pay over the phone with a credit card.  That means the ticket gets printed (so far so good) but then the ticket gets closed (not visible anywhere except transactions). 

 

When things are busy and we have a lot of open Orders (from online) and a few closed out tickets, its really difficult to have to check multiple places (orders, transactions, and sometimes open tickets too if the person hasn't yet paid) to locate the customer.  

 

It would be great if we can somehow have the open to route Tickets to Open Orders so they stay visible until we've fulfilled the order.   Is something like this possible?  Perhaps in Square for Restaurants?

Open Tickets and Online Order Mgt are two separate features and cannot be integrated with the Standard POS nor Square for Restaurants unfortunately. 

 

Thanks for giving us insight into your day-to-day. I appreciate the break down on how you manage orders. Helps the Product Team and I understand the improvements needed to make Order Management less cumbersome and more streamlined - no matter the source.
