I originally entered the incorrect tax ID number and need to go back and correct it. How do I do that?

Here is some help.
Once you click the link, click update Taxpayer Information. A new window will pop up for you to enter your taxpayer information. Inside that box in the upper right hand corner is a field to change/add you SSN or EIN.
This does NOT change your EIN on other aspects, such as payroll, for your account. Please contact Square to make necessary changes.

I went to the dashboard and entered my non profit EIN but it didn't like that number. It wanted my SSN on file with the IRS. I do not want the the income linked to my personal TIN. I sell with all sales going to a non profit.

@123159 ;
You may have to either call Square or Create another Square account. As far as I know you cannot change SS#'s or Ein numbers anymore as safety feature to keep people from creating Fake accounts to use for Fraud. People are even having troubles changing the Name on the account like when a person gets married and takes their spouse's last name. This is why I recommend calling Square Support.
