How do you change the information seen on the Square Card?

I started the business with a friend who is now no longer a part of the company. Both of our names are on the Square card.

I would like the card's information to be changed only to my name so that the former business partner can't use the card.

Is there some way to change the information?

Here's the link to Square's Card web site where you'll find everything you need to know abut the Card.  If you order a Card, it will automatically have your business name on it.

There's not a way to not have your name printed on the card as well.

We're not able to change the name associated with your Square account, as well as the name on the Square Card. In order to get this straightened out you'd need to create a new Square account with the name of the person you’d like to have on the Square Card.

I was interested in signing up for Square checking/debit card.  When started the process- 'owner' name it does not have my full last name.  (2 words) 

Does Square recognize hyphenated names or 2 word last names??

I am adding to the request to be able to edit the owner's name. It's been at least 3 years  since I first looked into this and you haven't came up with a solution to edit an owners name?  Management has changed and we don't really want to close one account and reopen another.  Please fix this so we can edit our account to reflect accurate information. Our account has an obsolete name that I am unable to update. All other information is accurate and pertains to the business.
