How do increase the price of a item on a 1 time sale ?

Let's say a item in my system is 1.00.     And I want to up charge a customer.  1.50.    Is there a way to increase the price on the fly ?

without using a custom  item.

Hi @Hobbyquarters, welcome to the Community! 

Couple ways you can go about it; If you find that you often use the same alternate price, you can save multiple price points for the item, to be selected as needed. Alternatively, if the price varies each sale, it would likely be better if you do not enter a save for the item, which allows you to key the amount each time you add it to the sale.
