Hell @wballen!
You can export employee shifts by following the steps below:
- Sign in to your online Dashboard > navigate to Timecards.
- Click Labor Cost.
- Click Export in the upper right > select Export Employee Shifts to download a CSV.
Can you take a look at this report and let me know if it has the information you were looking for?

Hey @Pinky-
Thanks for posting in the Seller Community!
Here is an article that goes over all the options we have available with Square Payroll Tip Importing, including Pool and Split Tips.
For Pool and Split Tips, credit card tips are pooled and split among employees based on the number of hours worked in the selected pooling interval (pay period or workday) which is determined by the use of Time Cards.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Is there a way to export timecards for the entire pay period by employee? I see that we can export daily reports but it would be nice to export the report bi-weekly for payroll.

We already have payroll through another source. We use Square as our POS and would like to use it as our time clock. We would need to be able to export a report that shows all the staff time cards for a two week pay period as we pay bi-weekly. Is this possible?

Hey there, @gcpl -
Welcome to the Community.
I've shifted your post to a thread where other sellers have asked a similar question in regards to exporting your timecards.
Helen has provided the instructions on how to do so. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions.

I followed Helen's instructions but unless I am missing it I would have to export each day separately and then total each staff member's hours. Is this correct? The old time clock software we used would allow us to print or export the entire pay period by employee and each employee's hours were totaled.

Helen's answer only works if you pay for Square Payroll. We use another company for payroll and are quite satisfied. The only way to get the timecard is to print daily from Shifts>Workday. That would be fine as it meets the new IRS payroll audit requirements. UNFORTUNATELY, there is no date on anything that is printed. It is visible to look at the screen but will not print out or be saved in any type format that includes the date. My CPA has just gone through 2 payroll audits and they were fined because the payroll records they used did not have dates downloaded from the time card company they were using. Please advise how we can become compliant. Thanks!
