How can I control the settings on the 'Email Subscribe' form?

How can I control the settings on the 'Email Subscribe' form on my website?

 

I tested it as an example user but never received a confirmation email to say I had subscribed. How can I control this, and edit the automated text on the response / reply email?

 

How can I be notified when someone subscribes using the form?

Hey @Tallkoala, thank you for your post and welcome to the Community! 

 

At the moment, there isn't a way to be notified when a customer signs up for your newsletter, nor is there an option for your customers to be sent an email when they are subscribed. However, if you use marketing, this should be possible as you'd be able to send up a Welcome Email that gets sent out to them once you've collected their information. I'll pass on your feedback to our teams for their consideration.

As for editing emails/text messages you can do so by following these instructions:

 

  1. From your Square Online Overview page, go to Communications > Email & Text Alerts.
  2. Select Add Profile to begin creating a sender profile.
  3. Select Save when finished. This will trigger an email that’ll be sent to the email address in your sender profile
  4. Select the button in your confirmation email to complete the sender profile verification.
