Hello all, my name is Nakayla Minondo and I own my own business Goddess Scrubs & Butters, and we are a small business that sells homemade vegan soaps, butters, scrubs for men ,women, and children. I've been in business since about August of 2021 so I'm new to this and was wondering if anyone could offer any tips on how to bring in more customers? I do alot of social media ads, and I post quite a bit on my Facebook to gain sales but it's not consistent. I have amazing products and great reviews on them but I am wanting to engage with more people from everywhere. Check out my website when you get the chance.
Thank you

Hey @Goddesscrubsbut Welcome to Block, Err, Square Community :). Great looking site you have there, love the pictures, and the branding. So since you have the social media on lockdown it seems, there isn't any need to get into that. Be sure you have a Google My Business page set up and keep that updated when you do your normal social media posts. GMB can be just as powerful if not more so than anything else out there.
I quickly glanced at your site, so you may have this already set up, but seeing as these products tend to last some time, have you thought about setting up something like subscriptions or an auto ship feature? This would seem to be a pretty good feature to add especially for the products that you offer where you can almost guarantee recurring orders, and even offer them a very small discount for doing so. Sorry if you already have that set up and I didn't see it, but if not I would give that a shot and see where that goes.
One note too, on your site. Just my personal opinion, but If it were me, and you could, I would change the testimonials to horizontal carousel maybe instead of vertical. This will just cut down on the scrolling a user will end up having to do, and will enhance their overall experience.
Welcome again though and I'm sure others will chime in with some more ideas for you.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate all of your feedback. I actually just started a soap subscription yesterday so great information. I will definitely make the changes you stated as I was looking at the testimonials As well. I am not familiar with GMB but I will get on it. I get sales but they aren't as consistent as I would want them to be, so I'm trying to figure out better ways to market without breaking the bank.

Awesome on the subscription part of it then. Another idea that just came to my head as well would be maybe doing some type of referral system for any new people who refer someone to your new subscription. Again these don't have to be crazy huge discounts, just a little something something, free(ish) labor 🙂
Yeah Google can be a very good tool once you get it set up and verified.
I'm personally one for trying to do as much as I can without breaking the bank so SEO is going to want to be on the top of your list. Here is a great reference site i use for my site (wordpress), but a lot of SEO information that can be done when you have some free time to get your name out on all parts of search engines.
Just remember you just started only a few months ago, so don't be discouraged if you go through some rough patches, we all have and still do. Build your brand, keep an outstanding product and great customer service and things will pan out.
I'm not sure how in depth square onlines SEO abilites are
