I am currently doing deliveries only and doing the delivery myself. As such I want the option not to send any notifications to customers when the order is progressed to "in progress", "ready", "completed" as this is mainly for my internal management. Is this possible?
If not, can you let me know exactly what is sent to who when orders are progressed through the various stages.

Hi @pixierose, thanks for your post! At the moment, there isn't a way to disable email notification but you can disable the option for text message alerts. You can do this under Settings > Checkout > Advanced settings.
For delivery orders, customer will receive two emails - a confirmation email when they placed the order (the wording for this is included in the Order Confirmation email template) and another alert when the order is marked as Ready. I've included what that email looks like below. Customers won't get a notification when orders are mark as In Progress or Delivered.

Thanks @tranguyen although I'm not sure that is particularly helpful as "ready for delivery" doesn't really mean anything to the customer.
I've set the setting below off, does that mean they won't get the "ready for delivery" email?

Thanks for your reply @pixierose! I think the wording for this might have been more geared towards foods & beverages business whereby the email signified that the food has been prepared and is ready to be send out for delivery.
If you have disabled the flow there, customers won't get the ready for delivery email. They'll only get the initial confirmation email.
