Do I need to collect a credit card again when using Square Appointments?
New to Square and I now have clients book appointments with Square Appointments entering their credit card information to hold their spot. Do I need to collect their credit card information again at the time of the appointment? Or is it now saved on file to be processed?

I'd be happy to clarify! When you require a card to book an appointment, we will not charge the customer for the cost of the appointment. Your customer will not be charged unless they cancel outside of your specified cut-off time and you choose to enforce your cancellation policy
You will need to process a separate payment for the completed appointment.

How do we collect the credit card information from our clients? The cc auth form doesn't have a place for clients to enter their card info.

You can find a downloadable credit card authorization form here. You'll find a field for your client's credit card number, and card expiry date. Please keep in mind per PCI Compliance, sellers are not permitted to store a customer’s CVV. We recommend that you verbally confirm their CVV when adding a card on file from the Square Dashboard, or requesting this information when your customer is present and filling out the form in person.
