We use the "customer complaint" comp and would like to know what the complaints specifically are. Is there a way to enter in the reason when comping the item? Or create a custom comp on the spot? There are many different complaints we could potentially receive and creating a different comp button for each one isn't realistic.

Hey @Cityhopsbeer! At this time comp reasons must be created from your Dashboard, but I see how it would be really handy to have the option to create a new comp during a sale.
As a workaround you could add a note to the sale in order to record more information about why the item was comped. You can then review the notes from the Item Detail CSV report. Keep in mind that notes appear on receipts!
Thanks for your feedback about needing to be able to record unique comp reasons on the spot, this is great feedback as we work to make improvements!
