Can you use Square Payroll for independent contractors?

I own and operate a Barbershop and pay the people that work with me on a commision based income, basically making them a 1099 employee. Id really like to start using the payroll to handle this, but cant find any conclusive information. If you guys are not set up for it is it something thats being looked into?

Hey @ESC1! You're able to pay contractors through Square Payroll, however I'm not entirely sure on having those contractors listed as a company. 

@bwestbrook can you shed some light for us?

Hi @ESC1, at this time the option to pay an individual contractor as a company is not available in Square Payroll. You can check out the options that exist via our Square Payroll FAQs.
