Can customers be notified that their order is ready from the Square KDS?
Is there a way to Notify customer via square kds from expediter and not the pos. If this isint possible this should be added. @Squareup @Square @

Hi @BackyardBrew - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋
You're correct - this would be considered a feature request at this time. Because the KDS is simply your Kitchen Display System, it does not have all of the features of your Square Point of Sale built-in. Its purpose is to display orders placed in-house or online.
I do see how this could be a valuable feature, as it would prevent you from having to go from the kitchen over to your Point of Sale to alert your customer that their order is ready. I've gone ahead and flagged this as a Feature Request for our Square KDS Product Team.
