Can I set some categories in my online store to not accepting orders while others are live?
I run a seasonal business (plant nursery), meaning my inventory availability changes with the time of year. We are done selling plants for the year, but are considering holiday items that would only be available in November and December. I'm wondering if its possible to set some categories in our online store to 'off/not taking orders' while keeping other sections (seasonal sections) live? If not, is there any workaround anyone could recommend?

Hi @wildernessgreen 👋
I believe you can do this by setting up Time Based Categories and unchecking each available day until you are ready to sell the items again.
Or, you could use the bulk edit action from Items > Item Library from the Square Online dashboard to quickly mark each of those specific items as "unavailable". Check the box next to the items, then select Bulk Edit > Update Visibility
