App for COGS and inventory import to Quickbooks?
The Square/Quickbooks integration app royally screwed up my books, and I've had to spend thousands of dollars paying an accountant to fix.
I'm using Commerce Sync now and it's been great, however I still need a simple solution for COGS, inventory importing.
Can anyone suggest an app?

@BrianO ;
Are you using a desktop or online QuickBooks?
For either I would suggest Transaction Pro Importer.... the learning curve is steep but well worth it.
I used it to get my inventory from Square to QuickBooks desktop and now I use it to import my online and my instore sales as a Sales Receipt into QuickBooks Desktop.

@Candlestore I appreciate the response.
For QBO.
I'm really bad at this stuff- I would use Transaction Pro in addition to Commerce Sync? Or TP would replace CS and do a lot more?
I had a bunch of double entries and accounts not syncing properly, and it was so stressful/expensive getting it all sorted.

It replaces it and does a lot more from CSV files.... the only issue is you need to learn what is imported where and how.
I ran into a problem that the word TAX shows up like 4 different areas and getting it all to work right was a little confusing. I am currently working on an Excel spreadsheet that could do this automatically (fingers crossed). To stop the double entries I use the Transaction ID column which fills in the Receipts Number, so when TPI enters information it checks to see if that ID was used in QuickBooks, and says it did not import it because that transaction was imported or something similar.
If you just want to import the sales for the day you could do that too, but I use QBs to track my inventory on top of Square so I can track my Build Assemblies.
I first started using TPI just to import Square Sales, with Square Fees and Taxes. By doing this my Deposit records from Square would match my bank. Now I use it to import each Item I sell, Taxes, Fees, Discounts....and my daily deposits still match Squares Deposits. This is as long as when I transfer funds from Undeposited Funds in QuickBooks, I select the dates correctly for the Daily Deposits. This happens when I wait a week or so to do the Deposit in QuickBooks.

@BrianO ;
I will show what TPI does by showing 2 screenshots of my QuickBooks import using TPI. One is simple just showed a credit card sale with Square fees for 1 transaction. The second screenshot shows what I have been learning you can do with TPI. Imported each item in the sale, Squares Fees (CC Merchant Fee), Taxes (calculated by Square so I do not have rounding errors between Square and QBs) Transaction ID, Deposit Date, Deposit ID etc.... some items get truncated because of QuickBooks limits for character length but you can still locate the transaction in Square easily and confirm they are the same. Now again this is for the Desktop version. They may look different online and you can use it for a week as a test. Not sure if you can create a test QuickBooks file for online like I could for the Desktop version.
My next thing is working on an excel power query file to do all my csv cleanups automatically to have the clean file match what I want to import in a way I want to import. But running a business and trying to locate items that are in stock to keep my shop supplied is taking a lot of time up lol
