Adding 'add gift card' to shopping cart

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to add 'add gift card' to the shopping cart screen.  It seems confusing to customers.  They are trying to add gift card numbers to the coupon code and it is not working for them.

I would really like to know this as well. I put in a request to support a couple of days ago and have not heard back.

The HTML element for it already exists but is being hidden, and even when using CSS to make the button appear, it does not work.
