We’re excited to announce that you can now upload multiple images at a time, and use multiple images with items and item variations! Multiple images help your customers better see and appreciate your items, and can increase sales with uncertain buyers. 👀
Note: This feature is available to sellers that do not currently use Square Online. We’re working to make it available to all sellers. In the meantime, Square Online sellers can manage multiple images through the Square Online Catalog.
Upload Multiple Images to Your Image Library
Adding multiple images at a time is easy and quick! To upload multiple images:
- Log in to your online Square Dashboard and click on Items > Images > Image library.
- Click Upload. You can also drag and drop image files into your image library.
- From your computer or tablet, select the images you want to upload to your Square account.
Add Multiple Images to Items and Variations
Using different images with each variation helps customers see how each variation is unique from another. To add multiple images to item variations:
- Select an item variation then click Add images.
- Select multiple images from the Image library window, then select Upload.
Don’t forget to click Save after you’ve made your changes.
Note: Supported image types are .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .spin, and .gif files. Images can be up to 20 MB in size, but less than 500 KB is recommended for faster page loading speeds and more optimized search engine results. Images can be up to 2,560 pixels in width and 2,560 pixels in height, allowing for a higher quality zoom on your images.
