We're excited to announce that Square for Retail has made some updates to its look and feel, make sure your app is updated to version 1.12.1 to take advantage of theses changes:
Images in Search
Square for Retail now shows images when you search in the app. With images in search, you can find what you are looking for even more quickly. Add images to your items by navigating to the item in Dashboard and uploading an image.
Swipe item to add a discount
You can now quickly add a discount to items in cart by swiping left on the item and tapping Apply Discount. You will then be able to search and add the discount you are looking for.
Exposed cart actions in checkout
When you are in the cart view, just tap the Actions menu in the upper right corner and cart actions will appear below the search bar, making it easier to find cart actions like a applying a cart discount or selling a gift card.
