Expand your customer reach
Customer email addresses can be collected via a sign-up form or QR code, where customers can give consent to receive emails to help maintain compliance with Canada’s anti-spam laws, or you can upload pre-existing lists (see more on this below).
Promote your business in minutes
With Square’s marketing tools and templates you can create email campaigns in a snap or send automated recurring campaigns such as welcome emails, birthday emails, incentive emails and more. You can also send coupons that can be redeemed at your Point of Sale or online.
Understand the impact of your campaign
Track your campaigns, redemptions and sales directly from your online Square Dashboard. You’ll be able to see how many buyers opened your email, how many clicked to learn more and how many made purchases after receiving the email.
Collection of customer consent to receive emails
Square Marketing helps sellers maintain compliance with Canadian anti-spam law. Square email collection tools require customers to opt-in to receive email marketing campaigns using one of the following methods:
- QR codes you can display in your business
- Sharable direct link to a signup form
Additionally, if you have already collected customer consent to send marketing emails, you can upload a list into your Customer Directory. Every email marketing campaign that gets sent will include an unsubscribe link, and if a customer asks you to unsubscribe them in person, you can unsubscribe them from your Dashboard or customer profile.
Square Marketing Pricing
Pricing is based on the number of subscribed customers (the customers you could reach via email) in your Customer Directory.
