You can now generate checkout links from directly within the Square Point of Sale app. Use them to share via text, email, social, etc., or have your customer scan the QR code with their phone as a way to make a quick purchase without physical contact.
Checkout links can currently be used for single-item checkout on POS. You'll see Online Checkout as a payment option after tapping Charge.
You can also use them to process a quick charge of a keyed-in amount. Simply enter the amount you want to charge in the keypad, tap Charge, and then tap Online Checkout. Have your customer scan the QR code with their phone, or share the link any way you want.
You can also create links through the Online Checkout option in Settings, and edit checkout link settings near the bottom of the Edit Item page for each item in your catalogue.
