New: Easier returns with Pending Restocks in Square for Retail

We know that restocking returns after the holiday rush can be a headache.  We're excited to announce an easier way to manage these restocks with your new Pending Restocks feature in Square for Retail.

 

Instead of having to make a restocking decision during a return you can skip the restock and decide later. The returned inventory will appear in the Pending Restocks page in your Square Dashboard where you'll be able to choose to Restock or Mark As Damaged.

Managing your Pending Restocks is simple:

 

  1. Log into in to your online Square Dashboard. Navigate to Items > Inventory Management > Pending Restocks.
  2. Click on the items you would like to restock and select the quantity to Restock or Mark as Damage

You can also perform restocks in bulk by checking the box next to multiple lineitems and selecting Update Items. Find the items your looking quickly by filtering your restocks by item, sku, location and date.
