With the ability to create orders, it's now easier than ever to manage orders from your Retail POS. Easily track over the phone orders or orders to be fulfilled at a later date with this new checkout option. To use this feature, make sure you've updated to the latest version of the Square for Retail app.
To create pickup orders:
- Select an item to Add to Cart.
- Tap Create Order.
- Add Customer and select an existing customer or create a new customer.
- Under Fulfillment Method select Pickup.
- From the Pickup Details, select an estimated pickup date and time.
- Tap Done > Charge.
Shipment Orders
To create shipped orders:
- Select an item to Add to Cart.
- Tap Create Order.
- Add Customer and select an existing customer or create a new customer.
- Tap Add Fulfillment.
- Select Shipping.
- Under Fulfillment Details, select or create a shipping address and apply a shipping fee.
- Tap Done > Charge.
