I'm excited to share an improvement with regard to inventory counting — you can now connect a compatible bluetooth barcode scanner for Point of Sale and Retail using an iPhone!
What's new?
Two things: You can offer more efficient customer service (e.g. less waiting time in line) and count inventory.
How does it work?
Bluetooth scanners on iPhones now work the same way as iPads. To connect the scanner, follow these steps in our Support Center: Connect Your Bar Code Scanner. Once you've completed those steps and see the confirmation screen, you can scan, review, and adjust stock.
To access this feature, make sure the Point of Sale or Square for Retail (5.60) app and operating system on your device are up-to-date.
