You can now attach PDFs and image files to your Square Invoices!
You asked for it, and we heard you loud and clear! I’m excited to announce the new ability to attach PDF and image files to Square Invoices from the Square Point of Sale app and your online Square Dashboard.
Here’s how it works:
Square app:
- Select Invoices from the navigation menu.
- Tap Create Invoice.
- Enter your customer’s name and email address > tap Add to Invoice.
- If you want to send this invoice at a later date, tap the Send option and choose another send date.
- Tap Add Item to add items from your item library.
- Select Add Attachment.
- Choose an image from your photo library or take a photo. Note: JPEG is the only supported file format for mobile devices at this time, but PDFs attached to an invoice from your online Square Dashboard can be viewed from the Square app.
- Edit image name if needed and tap Upload.
- To add additional attachments return to step 6. You can attach up to 10 images to a single invoice.
- Tap Send.
Square Dashboard:
- When creating an invoice online, click Add Attachments to upload PDFs or images from your computer.
Note: Image files and PDFs can be uploaded with a total file size limit of 10MB with a maximum of 10 files.
- You may add additional attachments one at a time or remove uploaded attachments by clicking X.
- Click Send.
Note: File attachment isn't currently supported for recurring Invoice series.
If you don’t see this feature available for you quite yet, please bear with us for another day or so while all accounts are been updated.
