What is the difference between My Site and Xander?

I have made the decision to upgrade from a free site, to a paid site, but now I'm very confused.

It is giving me to options separate to upgrade, either My Site, or Xander. Being completely honest, I have no clue of what either of these are to choose which one to upgrade. If anyone can explain what the difference is, because I cant find any information on them.
