Uncategorized sales - do they stills how up in items

I realized half way through the year that some items didn't have a category associated with them - so they show up in reports as UNcategorized...but I want to make sure those sales are STILL showing in reports un item sales?

Hi again, @thefrontporchmt.  Sales will still be reported at the item level, but will grouped in the uncategorized category unless the item definition specifies a category for reporting.  Also, since you asked another question about Customer Sales, I’ll mention that all custom sales are automatically consider uncategorized for the purposes of category reporting.

@AlmostHome There is no way to make changes to any transaction after it has been closed, period.  So, whatever changes need to be made will have to be done on your bookkeeping app, along with notes about why the books don’t exactly match your Square reports.
