Square Appointments: Do I have to have the POS?

I already have Clover for my POS but I would like to have Square for my scheduling...do I need to get rid of Clover or can I keep it and not use the POS on Square?

@jessa45 You can use Square Appointments (there isn't a contract) to schedule and manage appointments only.

You can use the Square Appointments app too - if you like - but it doesn't have to replace your POS. Equally, many sellers use the online Appointments Dashboard to manage their schedule from a computer/laptop/web browser on a tablet. 

Square Appointments is free for individuals but if you have employees there's a 30-day free trial.
