Order Receipts

Hello all,

New to Square here.  Recently purchased a pizza franchise and using square in the restaurant.  How can I print an order ticket without payment?  When I am using my Square Register, but my restaurant is buffet style.  I want to be able to print a receipt and have it taken to the table, then the customers bring it to the cash register to check out.  Any help with this?  Thanks

Hi @SerhWyatt.  Assuming that you are using Square POS on Register, from the POS, clock on More -> Settings.  Scroll down to the Add-ones section, click the + and enable the Open Tickets add-on.  Go ahead and make the list of currently open/unpaid tickets to be your Home Screen by toggling that on. 

After that, after you have created a check, click on the “Save Ticket” button in the lower right-hand corner.  Click New Ticket and give it the customer’s name.  Then, when the customer is ready to pay, click on their name in the list of open tickets and complete the payment process.
