@Minion Dirt cheapest is any android/apple phone and the square point of sale app and the chip/dip reader.
I personally would look at the square terminal for a quick and dirty way to get up and running with a printer, swipe, dip, tap all built in:

My favorite set up for a professional start that would be the best bet long term:

Put this with a cash drawer, an ipad, & a printer and you can handle tickets and everything else like any restaurant.
There are tons of options, but square can get you up and running fast and cheap and secure.
All of these options, you just need to have wi-fi available or hot spot off a phone/cellular device.

The best and most affordable is Square POS, with a chip/tap reader, and an iPhone, or Android.
If you graduate to a restaurant you can use Square For Restaurants.
