To deactivate an employee or contractor from your Square Payroll Team list: Log in to your Square Dashboard and click Staff & payroll > Team > Team members, and select a team member. Click the three-dotted actions drop-down menu and select Deactivate.
If you are receiving an error message please let us know what you are seeing on your end. We also suggest trying an incognito browser.
