Can you provide some more specifics on how you're wanting to use the Register? Specifically, will you have a restaurant or lounge that you'll also be needing to use a POS system for? Are you wanting to use the Register to check customers in and out from their stay and book rooms? Some additional context would be great so we can better answer your question!

We are potentially closing our restaurant but keeping our hotel open. We would like to use our register for lodging. We currently have a system set up for booking but is there a way to connect the register so we run cards through our square rather than the current company we are set up with for merchant transactions? (Merchant company is different than booking company).

At this time the Square Register doesn't have the ability to connect with 3rd party apps. Sorry about that.
