How to keep my home address out the publics hands?

I don't have a physical business address and I will be taking online orders from home.  How will I know for sure that I'm properly set up correctly? I understand you need an address but I don't want my address popping up on customer receipts, invoices nor shipping lables/packages.Don't want my home address popping up anywhere! Id freak out like anyone else. Any suggestions out there? Perhaps a PO box?

I can definitely understand why you would not want to use your home address. I think the best course of action would be to contact your carrier directly to see if they have any particular rules regarding a p.o. box being used as your ship-from address. You'll definitely want to use a valid address in case the package is returned to you for any reason. Another option you can look into is using a retail shipping location (like The UPS Store) that can receive packages on your behalf.
