Can I connect my barcode scanner to Square Appointments?

I purchased a socket scan S700 and I have the square stand. Can I connect the scanner to my appointments so that when a client checks out I can also add retail using the scanner?

As long as it's a compatible scanner with Square, you'll be able to connect it to Square Appointments. Let me know if you have any questions about this! ✨

I have gotten it paired now but it unpairs quickly and I have to redo it. I think I’m going to have to return it because it’s not reliable. I’ve been trying for 2 days. Resetting it several times.
