Can anyone recommend an inventory list fix?

About 5 weeks ago, while doing my weekly orders, I noticed that some items were not showing up in the list of items under a specific vendor while scrolling through my dashboard looking for low stock notices.  I have items flagged but still manually scroll through to ensure that I haven't missed anything, click on items, go into the field and check "View Stock History" to ensure I don't run out of product.

This particular day, I noticed that of the 5 items of a certain brand name "Cloud Star" only 4 were showing up.  When I searched that term, all 5 showed up in the search results but when scrolling through they were missing.  Since then, I've noticed this was true for any number of items. (hundreds)

I contacted Square who assured me that they were working on this. The next week, that it was a problem with my account only.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Have you checked?  I am missing re-orders as the items are simply not showing up in the feed and I can't remember every single item I have to do a specific search for.  We have over 4,500 items.

Anyone else? and if so, how did you fix it?

I have been informed this morning, that it is a problem that occurs with all items that have been created under the newish "Item Type" Prepared Food and Beverage.  I have been informed by Square support to recreate all the products that I have created under this Item Type as there is no quick fix, and no way to amend the "Item Type" after creating an item.

Needless to say, I am less than impressed and am wondering if any of you users have experienced something similar and have any suggestions of how I might correct this in the least time effective manner.

My first challenge is to determine which items are listed under "Prepared Food and Beverage".  I don't believe there is a way to search for that? How can I fix something if I can't even find it?

How can I search all my items, I can't remember everything in my inventory? I'm looking for options that will take the least amount of time. I'm thinking export my library.  Scroll through that and compare to what is showing up on my dashboard. That will allow me to flag items that are showing up, leaving those that will require re-creating.

Can anyone think of an easier way.  If I had a few hundred items, this would be OK.  I have 4,749 items.  Help.
