I need to enter a single produce in 2 categories

I have read other posts regarding this issue but have not seen a resolution. I own a sweet shop and I need to be able to keep track of my inventory but it appears I can only track 1 item per 1 category which doesn't make sense. I sell cakepops separately and I also sell them in dessert boxes. I want to keep track of all my lowest level inventory ie cakepops in this example. If I add the cakepop to a new category it moves it from other old. Why can't you have items in multiple categories. What is another solution?

Hey @kjscakerybakery - two categories cannot share the same item. You'll need to create two separate items and distinguish them somehow in the item same so you can be categorized respectively.
