Buy 10 Get One Free

I'm a coffee roaster and am wanting to reward my customer who purchase 10 bags of coffee with one bag for free. I know there's a discount modifier where I can make these settings, however, when I set it to buy 10 get one free is that all in one purchase or does it keep a running total of every purchase of coffee beans till it hits 10 and they receive the discount?

This is in reference to selling them in person and in our online Square ordering page. So when a customer purchases a bag of coffee and signs in with their phone number or credit card, I'd like the system to track the number of sales and reward them with a free bag of coffee once they've purchased 10.

I would recommend looking into our Loyalty system. We offer a similar point-based system that you can use to track and reward your customers. Feel free to check it out through visiting our Loyalty site, or by contacting a loyalty specialist on the phone through our support options.

I'm already using the Loyalty Program to reward customers per dollar amount spent, but it doesn't appear that I can offer a loyalty program per dollar spent (for lattes and sandwiches for example) and offer another loyalty program to give rewards per specific item sales, like my coffee beans. It appears to me it's one reward or the other.

Hey @JahvaRob 

There's no way to run two completely different loyalty programs like that at the same time - but you could extend your dollar spent to Coffee Beans, and add a second tier reward for free coffee beans for more points 

There's a lot of creative ways to get it done!
