iPad ruined due to square stand.....anyone else have/had this issue?
The square stand, issued/bought through square has seemed, overtime to destroyed my iPads. I've called and customer service is working on tracking my order from original setup. Has anyone had this issue and if so how was it resolved? Thanks for your help!

The screen has lifted from the back, in the same spot, on all four iPads.

Perhaps is the lock in place or is the ipad leaning forward at all? I have an older ipad terminal stand and nothing really is happening to mine.

I've had 3 square stands since they came out 7 years ago or so and iPads in them 24/7 for 4 months a year in a 100* greenhouse and they've been fine. usually, screen separating is due to battery swelling.

One thing I have noticed with IPads or at least mine is if you have too many apps running in the background, it will overheat especially with memory hogging apps. Now I do agree that having an ipad in stand 24hours a day is similar to having a case around the ipad. With no air flow, it will heat up depending on how much the ipad is working just like a phone in a case. If you clear out running apps that you aren't using, this should in theory help with ipads being damaged unless the stand itself is faulty.
