Hello.

My chip reader has a Micro USB port ( I think thats it- the funny shaped one that I used on my OLD phone !!)

and I wanted to know if Square will be coming out with one that is better suited for charging. I would be so much easier if all my devices used the same charger.

Looking forward to an updated unit.

I 2nd this for a USB C charger because I have plugged in the plug upside down and have damaged the charging port on a few cell phones with the current type of charging port on these readers. The USB C type is great since it can't be plugged in upside down.
