Why is my total collected amount more than the total sales amount?

My total collected amount is more than the total sales amount on a date? Could more have been entered as a payment than the amount charged? If this occurred wouldn't there have been some type of warning? Does anyone have some insight into this?

@amandalocho I wonder if there were payments taken that were marked as Other Tender? You're able to see the payment type in your Dashboard under the Transactions tab.

It was by card.

Weird @amandalocho. I'd suggest contacting our Support Team so that they can check it out with you.

I had the same thing that @amandalocho  did on a couple days.  I am manually entering every day into quickbooks when I collect more than I sell I am not sure what that journal entry should look like?
