Square transfer reports correct breakdown
So I really enjoy the transfer report feature because I need to use that to reconcile accounts but what really annoys me is for any invoice I have that I take a deposit, it will not reflect the correct total collected if it's the deposit. For example, I take a minimum $200 deposit for birthday parties. If the invoice is fully paid before I can look at it in the transfer report, it'll show the full amount of the invoice until the collected and net total. I have to go backwards and subtract the totals in order to actually find out the amount that was transferred for that invoice deposit.
For reconciling, it would be helpful to be able to break down the transactions into categories of what was sold since that's what I need for my business. I know I can pull a sales report but I need the categories to be reflected on the actual amount transferred for my accounting.

Thanks for writing in and highlighting this feedback regarding transfer reports, and invoice deposits! I understand how time consuming it would be to have to look back to reconcile these payments. I'll go ahead and pass your feedback on to our team - this is something we're tracking already.
