Square, Please either turn off E-Gift Cards or protect merchants that allow them
I turned off E-Gift Card Purchases today because my one and only E-Gift Card sold BY Square is getting disputed almost 2 months after the fact.
SQUARE sold a E-Gift card on February 9th. It was then used on my online site to order Valentines Day Balloons and picked up on February 14th.
It got disputed today on 4/6/22, almost two months after they sold the E-gift card.
It seems ridiculous that merchants aren't protected when Square sells the E-gift cards and we aren't responsible for verifying that they are indeed the owner of the card.

You can set your e-gift cards to not be sold in-store and/or online. Got to Gift Cards, egift cards, configure, toggle off either or both.
