So the new 10th Gen 10.9" iPad won't fit into the Square Stand, correct?

As the Square Stand only holds the 9th Gen 10.2"/10.5" ? 

Taking 2 days to get clarification from Square. Slow replies on emails. 

If that's the case. It's a bit silly that Square Stand isn't flexible with different sized iPads??

Thanks for writing back in! 

Unfortunately, we don't know which size new Apple products will be ahead of their releases and find out at the same time the general public does. 

The current Square Stand is compatible with 10.2" and 10.5" iPads. Because it's a piece of hardware that the tablet has to slide into for a perfect fit, we can't accommodate all iPad or tablet sizes. There was the first generation of Square Stands, for instance, that fit previous 9.7" iPads, and as Apple release different models in the future we'll do our best to release hardware that fits these models as quickly as possible.  

The Square Reader is compatible with the next-gen iPad, and other tablets listed here so you could consider getting a generic tablet stand fitting the tablet you have.
