Remove Notification for Cancelled Appointment

There's a notification for a cancelled appointment from over a month ago.  How can I remove this notification?

I want it gone.  At a glance, it looks like a new notification.  It's old.  It is no longer needed.  How do I get rid of this old notification?

When you go to your Calendar view on your online Dashboard is the option to show canceled appointments checked? You'll find this option under Day/Week/Month View and it's the little button at the bottom.
