Need Magstripe Reader for Google Pro Max

Hello. Can someone help me. I sent questions to square and they sent answers that didn’t help lol. I just got a reader for my phone but I don’t have a IPhone. Is there something I can get to make it work on my phone? I have a google pro max. Thank you so much

Hi Kbowen,

Can you provide some additional details - for example, the exact phone model and OS version and which reader as Square has a two types, "magstripe"—one for a headset jack, the other a Lightning connector or "contactless and chip reader".   This would help for others here who may be able to offer some assistance.

Thank you. I did get the magstripe. My phone is pixel 6 pro.

According to this info,  the magstripe reader would not be compatible with your phone however, the contactless and chip reader would work as it can be connected via Bluetooth.   If you need something that can print receipts, the Square Terminal would be a good option - it does require wi-fi which you could do via your phone's hotspot capability.   Just a suggestion of course.
