Manually printing kitchen ticket

Receipt printers can also print kitchen order tickets.  When configuring the printer, I can turn on "in person tickets" - this results in printing a kitchen ticket for every sale.

I do not want to print a kitchen ticket upon every sale.  Some sales are simple, one customer at a time - don't need a printed ticket.  Other times we're busy, or orders are complex, and having a kitchen ticket is useful.

How can I MANUALLY choose to print a kitchen ticket using my receipt printer?
