Is it a better marketing strategy to remind people to use coupons or not?
I send out coupon codes but clients never ask to use them during checkout. I figure I should let them pay full price unless they remember and choose to use their coupons. But maybe i should remind them and they'll feel good about getting a deal? What do you do?

That's a really great question, @LanaChavezHair!
I think it all depends on you and your business and your goals.
One way of looking at it is that the goal of sending out email coupons is to get the customers to come into the store. If they're coming into the store, it's better for your bottom line if they actually don't remember to use the coupon.
In terms of morality and all that, that's a deeper question - reminding them could theortically be a good moral business practice as you said to make them feel good about getting a deal, but I don't think it's necessary.
For me, I have only a small percentage of my customers on my email list, so reminding customers to use a coupon that they most likely never received might just be confusing because most people would have no idea what I'm talking about.
Although, telling my customers in general that I send out emails with coupons could probably be a great way to get them to sign up for my email list!
Hope this helps, and again, really great question!
